Greta Jarvis, MS, MPH
Greta Jarvis is a Portland native and founder of the Center for Active Women, where she helps women cultivate peaceful relationships with how they eat, how they move, and how they look. Her work is grounded in non-diet and weight-inclusive philosophies.
Greta earned her Master of Public Health from OHSU-PSU, her Master of Science in Nutrition from National University of Natural Medicine, and her Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Occidental College. She is a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Integrative Health Coach through Duke Integrative Medicine.
She teaches the graduate-level Eating Disorders and Intuitive Eating course at NUNM and works closely with Evelyn Tribole, the co-creator of Intuitive Eating. Greta also coaches JV women's lacrosse at Jesuit High School and has played harp since age ten.
